We offer deliver to the UK Mainland.

Order delivery time: 2 – 7 working days.

Most products on our website are delivered within 3 days if in stock. If it is a custom order, it may take up to 7 weeks for the item to be delivered. Please refer to the time specified in the product page for shipping and delivery information. 

All products will be automatically dispatched so if you do not want your product delivered on certain days please specify your required delivery day and time in the special instructions section at checkout. We can deliver Monday – Friday working hours only.

Delivery Terms for Furniture:

Most items are delivered using a one man courier. This means the delivery driver will only deliver to your front door and is not insured to enter your house. If you live in a block of flats or apartments, then the driver will only deliver to the ground floor lobby or communal area without a working lift.

If the lift is working and the goods can fit in the lift we can deliver to any floor. Any deliveries above ground floor where the lift is NOT working or there is NO LIFT, we can ONLY deliver to the ground floor.

All items will require a signature for delivery. So someone will need to be at home to sign for the product. If you are not home and the delivery company cannot deliver the product they will leave a calling card with a contact number advising you how you can contact them to rearrange delivery. You must contact the courier within 48 hours to rearrange delivery. Failure to do this could result in the product being returned to us. This may then result in additional shipping costs which we reserve the right to charge you for.

We cannot accept responsibility for any losses or costs incurred as a result of late deliveries regardless of the cause. We will do our utmost to ensure our customer is kept informed at all times and try and resolve the issue with the couriers at the earliest possible time.

In the interest of Health & Safety and for Security purposes all deliveries:

  • Less than £1000.00, the customer must provide at least one person to unload. Above £1000.00 the customer must provide at least two people to unload.
  • Claims for shortages will not be accepted after delivery. Damages and shortages must be reported to the driver and details reported to the office at time of delivery and must be noted on all documentations and signed by the driver.

Delivery Vehicles

  • All vehicles are equipped with satellite navigation
  • All vehicles are securely locked while in transit and when unattended
  • All vehicles and drivers are fully bonded and insured

Delivery times vary according to the courier we are required to use. The different services we use are as followed:

  • Light Items = 2 – 3 working days 
  • Heavy Items = 8 – 10 working days (Pallet Courier)
  • Large Bulky Items = 8 – 10 working days (Mainland Area) (Specialist 2 Man Courier)

Saturday Deliveries

There will be an additional charge for Saturday delivery, but we always try to keep this to a minimum. If you decide you want a Saturday delivery, please give us a call and we can try to change the details on the system as long as the order has not already been processed. Items ordered with assembly service will take additional 5 days to dispatch.

We will endeavour to notify you as soon as possible if any delays we are made aware of. Generally, when more than one item is ordered all items will be delivered at the same time.

Every effort is made to make deliveries at the time arranged. However when making hundreds of deliveries every week, the difficulties caused by traffic congestion and weather conditions (including snow, ice, wind, rain and flood) can sometimes cause delays to these schedules.

On some rare occasions permitted driving hours regulations may force these delays to extend overnight or longer. We regret we cannot compensate customers for delivery delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Parking and Parking Restrictions

The customer must ensure that appropriate parking is available during delivery and that any parking restrictions be made available at booking in stage.

All parking penalties will be the responsibility of the customer and will be added to their next invoice. Any Congestion charges will be the customer’s responsibility and will be added to current invoice.

Stock Availability

We carry all items in stock, however, there may be certain times in the year where demand has exceeded the supply and therefore our lead times for delivery may be extended. We would highly appreciate your cooperation and patience at all times. Where we are unable to deliver the items to yourself in a reasonable time, we will always keep you informed. Please regularly log into your account for regular updates.

Due to the high volume of orders at present, our stock numbers are rapidly changing by the day. Therefore we can’t guarantee immediate delivery of your item(s), until our replenishment stock arrives back into our warehouse. If you are unable to wait we would be more than happy to refund you within 3 working days. Please email us on admin [@] orasliving.com for cancellation request.
